National Commercial Bank (Jamaica) Ltd. (NCB) is the recipient of the prestigious Jamaica Employers’ Federation (JEF) Employer of Choice Award. The bank received this nod at the JEF Annual Awards Ceremony held at the Hilton Hotel on Wednesday December 9. The candidates undergo a series of rigorous analysis and interviews conducted by the JEF to determine eligibility for the award. The main criteria for judging are the top nine factors that are considered most important to an employee when selecting an Employer of Choice. These are: NCB went toe-to-toe with major players in the industry to take home the following coveted awards: 1. Overall Winner - Employer of Choice The NCB Group; however, is no stranger to industry accolades. Senior General Manager, Group Human Resources Division, Rickert Allen was pleased about this most recent endorsement of the Bank’s efforts, “Our goal, as always, is to ensure that each member of our team realizes his or her full potential; this latest award is a credit to the systems put in place to ensure that our people remain highly motivated, competitively compensated, engaged and comfortable in their working environment in order to achieve this.” The NCB HR boss continued, “We thank the employees of NCB for this endorsement, as it is their satisfaction with the efforts outputted by the administration that has resulted in yet another achievement by the organization.
