The recognition of being named ‘Bank of the Year 2009’ is a testament to the strong management and prudent risk approach that is made by an institution in its respective country.

Patrick Hylton, Group Managing Director was elated that NCB received such an award. He stated, “this is a testimony to our strong performance. NCB continues to maintain its position of being Jamaica’s premier financial institution and our successes are attributable to the resilient team of employees who continue to perform based on the organization’s strategic brand pillars of innovation, expertise and strength.”

“Our business model proved effective as greater flexibility was required based on proactive environmental assessment during this challenging period. Mindful of these difficulties our focus has been on strongly serving our customers and supporting them during the time when it matters most,” Mr. Hylton added.
